Through the cooperative efforts and services of NW BOCES, school districts will improve student achievement and maximize resources.
What is NW BOCES?
Northwest Colorado Board of Cooperative Educational Services (NW BOCES) is a cooperative service agency providing special education, professional learning, grant coordination, alternative teacher licensure, induction program and other services to its member school districts.
Located in the Northwest corner of Colorado, we are composed of 6 Member Districts which are as follows:
East Grand and West Grand School Districts which are located in Grand County. Hayden, South Routt and Steamboat Springs School Districts which are located in Routt County and North Park School District which is located in Jackson County.
Our Administration
Chris Eberhardt, Executive Director
Chris joined our team in July 2020 during the heart of the pandemic but Chris isn't one to shy away from challenges. Chris has had a long career in education. He's held various positions in the field including, classroom teacher, assistant principal, principal and interim superintendent in various regions, including Nebraska, Colorado and Oregon. His easy leadership style and his enthusiasm for continuous improvement in the field of education are 2 of the many strengths he brings to the NW BOCES team.
